4th International Workshop on

Mining Actionable Insights from Social Networks

Welcome to the 4th International workshop on Mining Actionable Insights from Social Networks (MAISoN 2020). The workshop takes place on April 20 and is co-located with The Web Conference 2020 (formerly WWW), which takes place from April 20 to 24, 2020 in Taipei, Taiwan.

Call for papers. In this workshop, we aim to to invite and gather researchers and practitioners from across the world and, in particular, from diļ¬€erent disciplines, such as information retrieval, data mining, machine learning, data science, network science, social network analysis and other related areas to share their ideas and research achievements in order to deliver technology and solutions for mining actionable insight from social network data.

We solicit original, unpublished and innovative research work on all aspects related to the topics of this workshop. The deadline for submissions of articles is January 10, 2020 February 1st, 2020.



Notifications will be sent out on February 15, 2020.

Accepted contributions will be presented in a plenary session at the workshop on April 20.

Previous editions. After three successful editions of MAISoN in at WSDM in Cambridge (2017), IJCAI in Stockholm (2018), and ICTIR in Santa Clara (2019) we will meet again this year in Taipei, Taiwan hosted by one of the leading conferences on the thrilling field of research for the World Wide Web. Previous editions of the workshop attracted a number of high-quality contributions spanning a variety of issues and techniques related to social networks analysis. The workshops also included exciting invited talks regarding social networks analysis. Previous workshops had journal special issues of Elsevier Information Systems and Information Processing & Management journals as well as the Springer Information Retrieval journal.
